I am not intrigued by the shadows… I think they live in the real world. The project is inspired by the famous Cave theory of Plato and creates a new dimension working with the shadows of found objects and organic life forms. The objective of this project is to depict the existence of a world of living shadows amongst us where the abstractness takes on the form of the subject and interacts with the textures and perspectives of the object it is formed upon. The shadows are real and alive… with colors and textures and perspective. My aim is to investigate this new dimension to understand the natural laws that govern them and perceive the elements of their all-pervading existence, non-temporal movements, and transcendental presence. The project also studies the proof of the existence in the non-existence of shadows in a dark room and extreme light.Less More
